How it works

A gentle route for true beginners

This course is designed for children who can speak Chinese, may read English better than Chinese, and have never programmed before.

1 Watch and copy

The teacher builds the first version slowly. Students only need to copy and run.

2 Change one thing

Children change a number, sentence, color, or sound so the project becomes theirs.

3 Run and explain

They run the stage and say what happened. Speaking counts as learning evidence.

4 Practice in Lab

After class, Scratch Lab gives the same small mission without extra parent or backend information.

First 12 lessons

Each stage adds one visible skill, and the final stage combines movement, story, rules, and feedback into a small game children can show at home.

Stage 1Meet the stage, sprite, green flag, and simple motion.

Stage 2Use speech, sound, costumes, and short story scenes.

Stage 3Repeat actions, control speed, and make a dance or race.

Stage 4Add score, choices, simple debugging, and a shareable mini game.
